MyGovIndia द्वारा साझा किए गए भव्य 73 वें गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह के एक वीडियो, जिसमें भारतीय बैंड को “मोनिका ओ माय डार्लिंग” की धुन बजाते हुए देखा जा सकता है पर मोनिका ने ट्वीट किया, “मेरे रोंगटे खड़े करने से दूर यह मुझे मेरे पेट को बीमार कर देता है … गरिमा शापित हो। मोदीशाह की संवेदनाएं सशस्त्र बलों पर हावी हो जाती हैं।”

महुआ के इस ट्वीट के बाद उन्हें काफी सारे ट्रोल का सामना करना पड़ा।
